Paani Bhaban

Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) constituted originally in 1959 as a component of the East Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority on the recommendation of the CURG Mission formed to develop recommendations for solving the problems of flooding and losses of life and property, including crops. The Prime Minister laid the foundation of ‘Pani Bhaban’, the head office of the Bangladesh Water Development Board, at Green Road, Dhanmondi.
