With the aim of achieving technological excellence in Bangladesh’s energy sector, Tritech Building Services Ltd. has successfully installed six German Aprovis Dual Fuel Exhaust Gas Boilers (EGB) at the Sreepur 150 MW Power Plant located in Mawna, Gazipur. Each boiler has a production capacity of approximately 4 tons of steam per hour and can operate efficiently on both gas and diesel—ensuring stronger continuity and improved reliability in power generation.

This power plant, operating as an open-cycle peak-hour power plant, supplies an additional 150 MW of electricity to the national grid. It plays a vital role in meeting the rising energy demands of industrial zones and densely populated areas across the country.

The Aprovis EGB boilers installed by Tritech enhance the efficiency of the power generation system, providing sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions for the energy sector. One of the key features of the German Aprovis EGB boilers is their advanced heat recovery system. This system recovers energy from exhaust gas, reduces fuel waste, and increases overall efficiency. As a result, the power generation process becomes more energy-efficient, aligning with Bangladesh’s environmentally conscious energy policies.

Through this project, Tritech has demonstrated its leading role in advancing cost-effective and sustainable technologies. Tritech’s expertise extends far beyond the Sreepur Power Plant. They have successfully executed HVAC and industrial solutions for various power plants, pharmaceutical industries, food processing units, commercial facilities, and multiple industrial sectors across the country. Tritech’s timely project execution and technical proficiency are making significant contributions to Bangladesh’s energy sector.

The successful completion of this project at the Sreepur 150 MW Power Plant is not just a technology installation—it represents a major step toward environmentally friendly and efficient solutions in the country’s energy sector. Tritech remains committed to opening new horizons in the energy industry through more sustainable and high-performing projects in the future.

FAQs

For large office buildings, among all the HVAC systems VRF systems are highly recommended. As, they offer energy efficiency, zoning flexibility, and precise control over temperature, ensuring comfort across varying office areas.

The most demanded advantages of VRF systems in large office buildings are their efficient zoning, allowing independent temperature control in each room, and also the smart control and sensors. More than that they are also energy-efficient, quiet, and flexible, making them perfect for large office environments.

Yes, VRF technology is highly efficient in commercial buildings. It adjusts refrigerant flow based on real-time demand, reducing energy consumption and operational costs compared to traditional HVAC systems.

Like the other cooling solutions, the VRF system also needs some regular maintenance just like filter cleaning, refrigerant checks, and periodic inspections of outdoor and indoor units to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Rather than the traditional HVAC system, VRF systems offer superior energy efficiency, zoning flexibility, and also simulates heating and cooling, and more. Unlike traditional HVAC systems VRF systems are the best Innovative HVAC systems for large offices.

Before installing a VRF system, assess your building’s layout, energy efficiency goals, initial investment, and long-term maintenance needs. Ensure that the system meets your comfort requirements and offers a solid return on investment. For expert consultation, feel free to contact Tritech.
